Viewers of Rásaí Beo on TG4 got another glimpse behind the scenes of some of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) integrity areas this week at Listowel with the cameras going to the stable yard area. Dr Graham Adams, IHRB Deputy Head of Veterinary Operations spoke about the collaboration with Trainers for our Suitability To Race Programme and the work of the IHRB Veterinary team on a typical Raceday. As part of our commitment to a relentless focus on safety to minimise the risk of racing related injury to all participants, the IHRB have enhanced pre-race veterinary inspections of horses on arrival to the races.
