It's the little things that count... just like our new feature, that also counts ⏱️ (See what we did there?) 🧠 Thanks to the fact that many of 365Scores employees are die-hard sports fans, sometimes solutions for "small issues" come up from our employees or their friend's experience - Just like in this case! So from now on, when the referee blows his whistle to end the 1st half, you will know if you have enough time left to: 🐶 Go for a walk with your dog 🚿 Take a short shower 🍽️ Make dinner 🏟️ And if you're inside the stadium... You'll know if you have time left to go to the cafeteria to buy a hot dog and a drink before the whistle to start the second half 🌭🥤 📈 To be as accurate as possible during the halftime break, we pulled the counter data separately from each league, checking the average time that passes from the moment we send a notification when the referee blows the whistle for the end of the 1st half until the moment we send a notification about the start of the second half. Because... as you already know... data, notifications, and accuracy are pretty much our thing. Enjoy the new feature! Making a GIFference: Meet amir grebel 🎨 🔸 How do you explain what you do to your parents and friends? I don't need to explain anything to my friends; believe me, they are more than happy to use my design skills for their own benefit. As for my parents, I just tell them that people ask me to design nicer images by adding motion. 🔸 Can you walk us through a project you are particularly proud of and explain how you approached it? I don't have a particular project, but there are a few long-term projects that I am proud of... Forming work processes and storyboards, creating a better workflow between the designer and the animator -  and the result speaks for itself. 🔸 What are the design challenges you've faced on your job? Working with Ron Avraham... 😉 🔸 What's the weirdest thing someone has ever asked you to design? We have a gig here in the studio. From time to time, we release funny GIFs that represent the characters who work here. My friend, our Web Project Manager, Itay Arad, once asked me to design him a private "Welcome" GIF for new employees. He's a funny person with weird requests. Another time, I was asked to create a GIF for our Marketing Content Manager, Khoren Saribekian, The"Wheel of Food", which helps the team decide what to eat for lunch each day... Important tech issues.    🔸 If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of design advice, what would it be? Believe in what you do; it will take you far more than you think... 🔸 Which employee do you want to give a shout-out to (And why?) I would like to take this opportunity to cheer for our Technical Marketing Manager, Or Yakim. After a few years, I wanted to make a career change and moved to my current position as an Android Developer, which I was very interested in doing. It required a lot of investment and study from me, and with the help of the team here at 365Scores, I was able to make the transition smoothly. I am really pleased about it and also want to thank them for this opportunity. 🔸 If you could go back in time and give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be? Sell everything you have and buy bitcoins 🔸 Tell us about a significant project you took part in We went through a process of mapping all the BI to new and orderly functions. The whole procedure was carried out by me, and it was challenging and instructive 🔸 If you could choose any fictional character to be your partner on your development team, who would it be and why? Batman, because then he can drive me to the office with the Batmobile, also saves fuel 🔸 Tell us about an unforgettable moment at 365Scores All our company trips here are consistently amazing and surprising every time; I would go back to every one of them every day of the week. 🔸 Imagine time travel has been invented but can only be used to send back Android apps. Which app would you send to the past and to what era, hoping to make the most positive impact? I would send the Whatsapp app to a period when it made sense to get a NIS 2000 cell phone bill.
