Just recently, both Captan and Folpet were renewed in Europe for another 15 years—underscoring their continued importance in the crop protection industry. "This new facility strengthens our independence and reliability in chlorine production while providing a major capacity boost. The advanced technology allows us to produce chlorine up to 40% more efficiently, reducing energy consumption and ensuring a safer, more sustainable process," said Hadran Olami, our Head of Global Manufacturing.
