Last week, we had our final meeting with Localnutleg, an outstanding and exciting EU and PRIMA collaboration. Our founder, Prof. Ram Reifen, and Maor Dahan, Head of R&D at ChickP, had the pleasure of meeting all participants in person this time in Lleida, Spain. We're thrilled to share that our demo application for ChickP puffs – a 20% protein chickpea snack – won first place in a competition among 21 innovative products developed through this project! The products were assessed based on sensory evaluations from 140 tasters across Europe, and the results were outstanding: delicious, vegan, and exceeding consumer expectations.
