    outcome-oriented thinking

Outcome-Oriented Thinking in Cyber Crisis Management: The Key to Success at Code Blue In cyber crisis management, every decision is critical. At Code Blue, we've learned that to successfully guide our clients through the most complex crises, it's essential to adopt a meticulously calculated, outcome-oriented approach. In a crisis, you must adopt an outcome-oriented mindset. Our guiding principle is simple: every decision must be evaluated through the lens of the final result. Will the action we take bring our client to safety? Will the outcome meet the critical needs of the business, its customers, and the public? Cyber crises are no time for trial and error. There is no room for prolonged deliberation or unsuccessful attempts. When a company faces a breach, time is of the essence, and every minute can cost millions of dollars and result in an irreversible loss of trust. This is the moment when we must make quick, informed, and precise decisions, based on a deep understanding of the potential outcomes at each stage. At Code Blue, we focus on the desired result: restoring the organization to full operation, preserving its reputation, and ensuring that such an incident never happens again. To this end, we apply outcome-oriented thinking not just during the crisis but also in the early stages of preparation. Our readiness process is outcome-driven – we invest in planning, scenario building, and careful preparation of all involved parties to ensure that, when the time comes, we make the best decisions swiftly and accurately. Our success in managing dozens of cyber crises is a testament to the importance of outcome-oriented thinking. In each case, focusing on the result – rather than the means – allowed us to lead our clients through the crisis to a stable and secure solution while maintaining their reputation and business operations. In the complex and threatening reality of the cyber world, outcome-oriented thinking is not just a management approach; it is a necessity. It enables us to see beyond the immediate threat and plan strategically, ensuring maximum results and protection for our clients. Leaders in a crisis, remember: in the end, success is measured by the result. And at Code Blue, we are always focused on achieving the best possible outcome. Code Blue Cyber Code Blue by Dussmann

Reputation is one of the most critical assets for any organization, especially during a cyber crisis. I emphasize this so much because reputation is built over time. It is the cumulative result of numerous coordinated and systematic actions over time. When a cyber crisis strikes, every organizational aspect is tested—and even the slightest mistake can significantly damage the company's reputation. Over the past few years, we at Code Blue have managed dozens of complex crises where the organization's reputation was on the line. For example, during a cyber crisis that we handled for a global cybersecurity company, we faced the challenge of maintaining the trust of customers and business partners while rapidly responding to an incident that affected critical systems. We integrated deep technological analysis, legal and regulatory advice, and strategic communication management to ensure all stakeholders received the correct information at the right time. Thanks to the synergy between all these efforts, we could quickly prevent long-term damage to the company's reputation and restore entire operations. In another instance, we worked with a US unicorn that experienced a significant data breach. Customer privacy was at risk, and there was a real fear that the valuable reputation they had built could crumble. The combination of business continuity management, privacy protection, and crisis communication was crucial here. Every action was planned and executed precisely, understanding that we needed to repair the damage and convey a clear message of responsibility and professionalism. Reputation is the cumulative achievement of many actions—technological, legal, regulatory, operational, financial, negotiation management, internal, and external communication—all of which must work in complete coordination. Each team must operate under a structured and aligned methodology to ensure the personal and organizational reputation, with one primary goal: to ensure the organization's continued existence and ability to achieve its objectives effectively. To the best of my knowledge, Code Blue is the only organization that provides this holistic solution under one roof. Our multi-disciplinary expertise allows us to shorten recovery times and significantly safeguard our clients' reputations. By integrating all disciplines—from technology to communication—under one roof, we can ensure a unified, swift, and effective response. In a world where crises are an inevitable part of reality, the ability to respond in a coordinated and precise manner is what separates success from failure. Code Blue is committed to ensuring our clients can face the most challenging crises, emerge more robust, and continue operating with their reputations intact and protected. moments before long weeks As the CEO of Code Blue, I've had the privilege of leading our team through some of the known high-profile cyber crises in the past two months. Each situation presented its unique challenges, from a worldwide cybersecurity company facing a major breach, to an Israeli startup announcing its Unicorn Exit just as it was hit by a cyber attack. We also assisted a London Stock Exchange Energy Company, whose investors were concerned about liabilities during a critical loan process, and cargo aviation companies seeking cyber solutions. this is just the tip of the iceberg. What these diverse incidents taught us is a universal truth: reputation is everything. In each case, while our deep Incident Response (IR) investigation was essential, it was our global PR and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) teams that made the difference. They provided not just solutions but also reassurance to our clients, their customers, and their investors. We made sure they felt confident that they were in the best hands possible. At Code Blue, our commitment to our clients is unwavering. We understand that amid chaos, trust, and reputation are what sustain organizations. And that's why we are dedicated to protecting both with the full weight of our expertise and resources. In the increase of worldwide Cyber-Attacken choose your cyber combat team- choose code blue. #crisismanagment #ciso #ceo #cio #legal #cybersecurity Code Blue Cyber Code Blue by Dussmann

    social engineering behind the corner

Social engineering Break news In the last cases, we noticed that the hackers used more social engineering than ever. Iran's activities and cybercrime gangs are using social engineering to penetrate our systems. Why has social engineering become so popular? Let me share some old and new key reasons why attackers succeed with this approach: We found that hackers used people's Trust and Confidence: hackers track social media activities and find hobbies, lifestyles, and Positions. Also, we found that Emotions like fear, greed, or recklessness can drive hasty actions. Desire to be helpful can be exploited, sham, and manipulated by bad guys. In cases we managed attackers pretended to be CEO, emailing employees to urgently transfer funds for a supposed business deal. In some cases a deepfake of a CFO was used to authorize a fraudulent transaction, highlighting the need for robust identity checks. In one of our latest cases, hackers impersonated legit vendors and sent emails asking for payment for a new bank account. This kind of hacker method became so popular:( What we can do before? Awareness, training, guidelines, and anti-deep fake technology can reduce the risk. Five things we can offer immediately in case of emergency: • IR investigation - Identify and Isolate the Incident: Quickly identify the scope of the breach, including which accounts and systems are compromised. Isolate affected systems to prevent further unauthorized access. • • Notify Financial Institutions: •Contact your bank and any financial institutions involved in the transaction as soon as possible to attempt to stop or reverse unauthorized transfers. • • Inform Law Enforcement: •Report the incident to local law enforcement and relevant authorities, such as the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) in the U.S. This can help with recovery efforts and potentially lead to apprehending the attackers. • • Internal Communication: Inform your internal team about the breach to stop any further actions that might exacerbate the situation, such as responding to additional phishing emails, finance activities, or procurement payments. • Review and Secure Accounts: Check and secure all potentially compromised accounts by changing passwords and reviewing recent activity for unauthorized actions Feel free to contact us to learn more about collaborating with us. #cyber #socialenggenering #cybersrcurity #IR Code Blue Cyber Code Blue by Dussmann
