👋🎉🚀 Exciting News to our STUDIO users ! 🚀🎉👋 We're releasing one shot segmentation for Pathology powered by Foundation models in the DeePathology.ai STUDIO One shot segmentation is an algorithms that allows you to use an extremely small number of annotations to obtain superb semantic segmentation results. This can be used for exploring research ideas quickly, or gathering a huge amount of annotations in no time. In the video below we're using the wonderful open source Virchow model from Paige, and an application on top of our recently shared open source F-Seg package for unsupervised segmentation using Foundation models. Only a SINGLE (1) annotation is done per tissue category, and we get segmentation results IMMEDIATELY.

We recently published a method called "Segmentation by Factorization" (https://lnkd.in/dVHFQ975), that allows utilizing foundational models for unsupervised segmentation, AS IS, WITHOUT any training. This unlocks many possibilities: 🧠 Utilize pathology foundational models for unsupervised semantic segmentation. 🏷️ No need for any annotated data! 🚀 Generates powerful H&E image segmentation, for a configurable number of semantic classes. We have implemented these amazing capabilities within our DeePathology.ai STUDIO and are also committed to open source.
