He is board certified in Compounded Sterile Preparations Pharmacy (BCSCP). Darren has 16 years of experience working as a pharmacist within USA hospital pharmacies. This experience includes overseeing infusion services for a large academic medical center. Boaz Slav is the R&D Manager of the Pharmacy Automation Division at EQUASHIELD® in Tefen, Israel. Boaz has vast experience moving cross functional automated machines from concept to product to market, using innovating technologies and adhering to standards and regulations. Boaz's R&D team at the EQUASHIELD® Pharmacy Automation Division is comprised of highly experienced engineers, who specialize in motion and control, AI driven processes, data management and reports, and machine flow optimization while focusing on intuitive and easy human machine interface. The R&D team is responsible for the research and execution of important updates in our automation processes. Boaz spearheads product design projects mainly in the robotics and automation sector. Darren and Boaz work alongside one another very closely. With expertise in pharmacy market needs, Darren relays this knowledge to Boaz, who then executes improvements to meet those needs.
