An insightful evening this week in London, as we at Headline Media partnered with Anthemis Group to host an ‘Ask the Experts' panel for a room of engaged startup founders and funders.   Anthemis CEO, Amy Nauiokas, kicked off the discussion, followed by our very own Daphne Algom, co-Founder of Headline Media, who moderated an informative Q&A session with Anthemis’ Bukie Adebo Umeano, and Esha Vatsa from Mercuri VC. The conversation on stage and in the networking afterwards focused on diverse topics including the challenges and opportunities for female founders, the regulatory complexities for startups in financial services, and current market conditions and fundraising. One stand-out theme was AI: for a long time founders have thought that AI will intrinsically interest investors. Now, investors are articulating more clearly that while AI is an exciting space, simply using AI jargon is not what's going to excite them - they are more focused on the real problems being solved, whether AI is part of the solution or not.   Thanks to all who attended - we loved having you there and hope to see you again soon!
