Remembering Anat and Nitzan: Forever in Our Hearts ❤ Anat and Nitzan were two extraordinary individuals - who left a lasting imprint on everyone they met. Their dedication to their work, their passion for making the world a better place, and infinite kindness touched countless lives. Two years ago, we tragically lost them in a car accident, and their absence is still deeply felt by the ICL family and beyond.💔 This month, we honored their memory through two heartfelt ceremonies. ✨Anat’s memorial at the Children's Rehabilitation Department named after Anat Tal- Ktalav reflected her limitless passion for helping others. In her honor, we launched an award for Women’s Leadership and, in partnership with Simcha Layeled, organized a special event for hospitalized children and their families - continuing the work she cherished as a lifelong volunteer and medical clown. ✨At Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, we gathered in the auditorium named after Nitzan Moshe to launch a program in his memory, which includes the annual ICL Award for Safety and the Environment. Nitzan’s unwavering commitment to excellence and care for others defined everything he did and continues to inspire us to this day. Anat and Nitzan will forever be part of us. Their kindness, spirit, and leadership will always be remembered, leaving a permanent mark on all who knew and loved them. ICL Powering North American Battery Market with Strategic Orbia Partnership! We’re thrilled to announce that ICL has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Orbia Fluor & Energy Materials to further enhance North America’s battery supply chain! ⚡ Through this partnership, ICL will supply a phosphorus compound that's a critical material for lithium-ion battery production, to Orbia’s upcoming LiPF6 plant in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. This facility will be the first of its kind in the U.S., supporting domestic electric vehicle production and energy storage innovation. 🔋 This strategic collaboration boosts local production of essential battery components, reducing reliance on imports and advancing a sustainable future for energy storage and electrification across transportation and stationary applications. “We’re excited to deepen our involvement in the North American battery market, alongside Orbia, to drive forward the electrification of the future,” said Anantha Desikan, ICL’s Chief Innovation and Technology Officer.
