Meet Yoram Karif, a LIAD employee since 1995! With expertise in Electric Engineering and Computer Science, Yoram has grown from the weighing equipment department to become a senior control engineer. He and his team are the masterminds behind control systems for PelletSave and FlowSave. Yoram values the company culture. As he puts it, "LIAD feels like a family. Our high level of expertise allows us to take on design challenges that customers pose, always driving projects to successful completion."

When choosing a new central blending system, Plastic processing facilities often have to deal with space constraints. Occupying only 2x2 meters of floor space, our BlendSave Compact fits where other systems can't, and has a smaller footprint than multiple individual batch blenders. It delivers precision dosing with a robust 1500 kg/hr throughput, making it the perfect system for small spaces.

In plastics, inconsistent color due to PCR incorporation can be critical in color coding of items such as safety equipment or wires, while also affecting mechanical properties. SpectroMetric 6 uses Ampacet's FluxQF mono-pigments with our inline spectrophotometer to make real-time color measurements and corrections, managing variations in inconsistent PCR feedstocks. FluxQF pigments improve the distribution of color in the base material, reducing swirls and gels while minimizing the cleaning costs associated with liquid colors. They also prevent the wasteful overuse of the base color masterbatch – an action that is usually taken when trying to correct the color deviation.
