The first project will be located in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil in collaboration with Sanasa Campinas and will work to reduce water losses from public utilities. It will leverage Orbia Wavin’s cloud-based Water Network Management platform, complemented with a Central Control Room operated by Orbia Water Engineers, to enable utilities to detect network incidents from leaks to data issues. The PJB watershed, where the Campinas region is located, supplies more than 70% of the area’s water yet has gone through seven droughts in the last decade.
