Moon Festival magic filled our China, Korea, and Taiwan offices as we celebrated together. In China, we gathered for creative mug painting, a symbol of family connections. Meanwhile, in Korea, traditional rice cakes took center stage in our happy hour as we honored the family union, harvest, and our ancestors. “When we first demoed our project to our customer, it was clear we had something special. It started as a multi-disciplinary effort at Nova USA, with brilliant minds from different departments. Bruno laid out the architecture, Miguel was hands-on with the mechanical aspects, and I was in charge of the advanced tech. We also coordinated closely with Howard and Sergey on electronics and software. In addition we received much support from Matt on system level and Bruce who spearheaded. The success of this demo led us to propose our project for Nova's Innovation contest. It felt like a natural step to showcase our mutual hard work. Once we won the US competition, we were set to travel to Germany to the Nova Next Conference to present it to the entire company. Preparing for the presentation was intense; I received invaluable guidance from Igor, from the CTO team, who helped me refine the content to make it precise and impactful. Presenting in TED-style was new to me, and initially, my presentation was too long. Noa from corporate marketing was fantastic, helping me tighten my delivery and make the presentation style more engaging. I practiced a lot, even in my hotel room, to get it right. The response from my colleagues was incredibly positive. They appreciated how I broke down complex topics into understandable parts. This feedback was affirming—it showed that our teamwork and attention to detail had truly paid off.
