Smartphone-powered Timed Up and Go Tests (TUG) redefining fall risk screens? That’s right! 🏃♂️⚡ The TUG test is a quick and easy test many clinicians use daily to assess how a patient moves. In essence, it’s simple: stand up from a chair, walk a short distance, turn around, walk back, and sit down. But beneath the simplicity lies a powerful predictor of mobility—and potential falls. With OneStep, we take this a step further. Using smartphone motion intelligence, we break down the TUG into specific components—giving healthcare providers detailed insights into each task. We record the time it takes to: ➡️ Stand from the chair ➡️ Walk to and from the cone ➡️ Turn to sit ➡️ Sit down safely in the chair Imagine being able to see not just the total time, but also where patients struggle most.
