In commemoration of Yosef Guedalia.   One year ago, on October 7th, we tragically lost a dear friend—a brave and selfless soldier who was among the first to respond to the attack on kibbutz Kfar Aza. His strength, kindness, and the way he touched those around him will forever remain in our hearts.   Yosef gave his life doing what he believed in most—protecting the innocent. His legacy lives on in the lives he saved and in the countless people he touched.   We miss you, Yosef.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 Adir Tubi: 𝗖𝗼-𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗 With a background deeply rooted in aerospace, Adir Tubi’s journey began with seven years of service in the IDF and IMOD, followed by a remarkable nine-year tenure at Elbit. There, he gained his expertise as an aerodynamics engineer and UAV flight test engineer, playing pivotal roles as ILS manager in the introduction of the Hermes 450/900 UAV platforms to air forces worldwide. Adir’s fascination with RC controlled aircraft since childhood paved the way for his career trajectory, ultimately leading him to the heart of the drone industry.   Adir’s path intertwined with his co-founders long before XTEND's inception. Having known Aviv since their days at Elbit and crossing paths with Rubi through drone-related endeavors, their shared vision sparked the birth of XTEND. For Adir, the most fulfilling aspect lies in witnessing the company’s growth and impact, knowing their innovations have contributed to saving lives. At the core of XTEND’s culture lies the human element—a principle Adir holds dear. Cultivating an environment where passion meets technical prowess is paramount for him. Reflecting on his journey, Adir advises embracing the courage to embark on the startup path, acknowledging that the adversities met along the way are an important and enlightening part of the process.   Beyond his role at XTEND, Adir is a man of diverse interests, including his talent for playing the blues Harp—a facet of his persona not widely known among his colleagues. 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 Rubi Liani 𝗖𝗼-𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 & 𝗖𝗧𝗢 𝗮𝘁 𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗 Before XTEND, Rubi spent 13 years in the Israeli Navy, working his way up from software developer to leading his own branch. His passion for building systems naturally led him to the exciting world of drones. A lifelong RC enthusiast, drones became his ultimate hobby. In 2012, Rubi merged his software skills with his love of RC by co-founding the Israeli Drone Racing League (FRIL) and even the national drone racing team! While the military offered a clear career path, the chance to chase a dream was too strong. So, Rubi took a leap of faith and joined XTEND. Rubi met his co-founders at a drone racing event. They were just starting out, and Rubi became their guide in the world of drone racing. Later, their paths crossed again, and Aviv offered Rubi a chance to join their exciting venture – XTEND. The most fulfilling part about XTEND, he says, is working on his passion every day. A fun fact you might not know about Rubi: He's a huge Converse All-Star collector! His collection keeps growing with every month. Rubi's dream for XTEND: To bridge the gap between humans and robots.
