2 weeks left to apply to Batch 9!
It's all about the Founder Community. Over the past 4 years we have been building and growing our #deloitteLaunchpad community, to a point we have 74 companies that have gone through our program, with over 150 #Founders. It all started over 4 years ago, when we assembled the best team in place (Liron Winberg-Retzkin from NYC and Melanie Kraus from TLV) to build this new initiative within #Deloitte. The Journey so far has been incredible, with every Batch, you can see the unique challenges and issues that Founders face and the level of resilience they have to adapt. #Batch1 started in late 2020 where we were in the middle of the third wave of Covid and the entire program was centered around Working from Home and being able to build a Startup without meeting investors and clients (or your own people...). #Batch2 was our first in person Batch where we took 10 Israeli companies abroad to NYC for the first time. #Batch3 and #Batch4 was full speed ahead with Growth Mindset being the number ONE focus for everyone, capital was almost easy to raise and the markets looked more promising than ever. #Batch5 marked a special period in Israel where the Judicial Reform was at the peak and most of the country was focused on internal struggles. Managing a company at that time held significant managerial challenges. But nothing prepared us to the launch of #Batch6 which was planned to begin on October 10th 2023.... For sure the most challenging time we faced as a country, as citizens, as leaders of organizations. For over 6 months we had a staggering amount of headcount on active reserve, the entire country was affected by the October 7th Attack. It's amazing to see how quickly people normalize an existing situation and how our Founders adjust. Six months in to the War, we launched #Batch7 and most of the companies stabilized, continued to travel and managed to grow, regardless of only 1 active Airline that comes in and out of the country. #Batch8, that recently concluded in December 24' was all about Founders moving earlier than ever to the US. Some would say it was the affect of the War, some would blame the Judicial Reform. Israeli Founders are relocating and moving to the US quicker and sooner than we have seen in the past 5 years. We are just in the final 2 Weeks of APPLICATIONS for #Batch9, and I'm wondering what would be the theme for this upcoming Batch? Will the focus be on the #AI revolution and building scale with leaner and smarter teams? Trump's New Administration and the impact on global economies and the Tech Markets? Only time will tell. Until then, we want to see the best Israeli Startups apply to the program. The one constant that remains the same across all the Batches we had, is that the Founder community remains strong, resilient and together.
