The Russos Have No Plans for More Marvel Movies After Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.

Joe and Anthony Russo, the brothers behind Avengers: Endgame, are done with making Marvel movies, at least for now.

In an interview with GamesRadar, Anthony Russo said the latest Avengers installment was the last Marvel movie for the directing duo.

"It’s our Endgame, at least for now,” Anthony Russo told GamesRadar. “We don’t have any plans for now to make any more Marvel movies.”

Anthony Russo said there was a possibility of working with Marvel in the future, citing the "wonderful working relationship" he and his brother have with the studio. But for now, the Russos have no plans to dip back into the MCU.

The Russo Brothers have directed four MCU films: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Up next, they're teaming up with Spider-Man's Tom Holland for Cherry, based on the true story of a former army medic with PTSD who robbed 11 Cleveland banks to fund his heroin addiction.
