𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲. 👇 Let’s talk about Tax-Loss Harvesting!💡 It is a strategy where you sell investments at a loss to offset gains, reducing your taxable income and saving on taxes. Let’s understand with an example: Raj bought Stock A for ₹10L, now worth ₹15L (₹5L profit). He also bought Stock B for ₹12L, now down to ₹8.25L (₹3.75L loss). By selling both, the ₹3.75L loss offsets part of his ₹5L gain. This brings his taxable LTCG down to just ₹1.25L which is within the ₹1.25L exemption limit. So he pays zero tax! Without this strategy, Raj would’ve paid ₹46,875 in LTCG tax! 💸 Now, he can reinvest in Stock B to maintain his portfolio exposure. That’s the magic of Tax-Loss Harvesting!
