About us
Established in 1996 as a tribute to the ideals of late Smt. Shantaba and late Shri Shantilal Adani, the Adani Foundation stands for the values of courage, trust and commitment. What began in a few rural communities around Mundra port, Gujarat, has now expanded to 18 states in India, going far beyond the regions where Adani Group companies are functioning. Adopting an approach that embodies innovation, people participation and collaboration with key stakeholders, the Adani Foundation is achieving inclusive growth and bringing about sustainable development, thereby contributing towards nation building. As we respond to the emerging needs at grassroots level, our teams are focused on aligning all activities with the global Sustainable Development Goals, striving to secure a hopeful future for millions.

As #NationalNutritionMonth draws to a close, we revisit moments from our celebrations under Fortune SuPoshan Project. Aligning with our theme of 'SuPoshan Me Poshan Utsav', our dedicated Sanginis spread awareness about nutrition among communities, sensitizing them about the importance of healthy eating habits and hygiene & care practices to enhance overall well-being.

A great session with Nuseir Yassin (Nas Daily), at Adani Public School (APS) Mundra (GJ) today! In his interaction with the students, he emphasized on the importance of perseverance, and that one should not be discouraged by the number of attempts required to attain the goals. Instead, the focus should be on enjoying every moment of the journey. At the #AdaniFoundation we are continuously in the pursuit of creating such opportunities for our students to learn from talented individuals and gain insights to expand their horizons. Adani Group

On #InternationalCoastalCleanupDay, the Adani Foundation team at Mundra (GJ) organized a beach cleaning drive at Kashi Vishwanath Beach in Kutch. More than 200 students associated with our Utthan Project along with 80+ Utthan Sahayaks participated in the drive. Together, they cleaned a stretch of one kilometre by collecting a substantial amount of plastic waste. Through efforts like these, we are inculcating knowledge and awareness about environmental preservation among young minds.

The #AdaniFoundation, through Fortune SuPoshan Project, is celebrating the ongoing Poshan Maah across 17 SuPoshan sites in 11 states. Our Sanginis (community-level volunteers) are conducting interactive activities with beneficiaries to spread awareness about quality nutrition. This #PoshanMaah, a special focus is on planting more than 1,000 Moringa saplings across our SuPoshan sites with an aim to promote its consumption. Moringa is known to be rich in micronutrients, minerals and anti-oxidants, which can significantly help address nutritional deficiencies.
