Job Summary: The Production Manager for Chair manufacturing to oversees the entire manufacturing process of chair manufacturing, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing a team, optimizing workflows, adhering and improving SOPs and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Oversight: • Manage daily operations of the chair. • Ensure production targets and deadlines are met. • Monitor the quality of product and implement quality control measures. 2. Team Management: • Lead, Train and guide team. • Foster a positive and productive work environment. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. 3. Process Improvement: • Identify areas for process optimization and implement solutions. • Analyse production data to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve product design for manufacturability. 4. Inventory Management: • Define, Monitor and Manage inventory levels of raw materials and components. • Implement inventory management systems. 5. Safety Compliance: • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies. • Conduct regular safety training and audits. • Promote a culture of safety within the production team. 6. Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare and present production reports to management. • Analyse production metrics and propose improvements. • Monitor cost and the production process. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in production management, preferably in furniture / Automobile manufacturing operations. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools. • Knowledge about QMS, EMS, HSE regulations, and relevant testing standards is required. Skills: • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Working Conditions: • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to Automation  • May require extended hours during peak production times.
