Once upon a time (two years ago), when we moved into this office, we found ourselves in desperate need of a daily caffeine boost. Little did we know that just one floor beneath us was our match made in coffee heaven: Sandwich Smugglers, and thus began our friendship. Every day, we’d eagerly wait for those two notifications that truly mattered the most: their ‘morning order’ and ‘evening order’ polls. Amid the chaos of different work groups on WhatsApp, the Sandwich Smugglers group was, hands down, our favorite ~ kyunki bina chai-coffee ke toh kaam hi nahi chalta! Whether it was demands like “super-shampoo-jaisa super strong coffee de do” or “subah ki chai jaldi bhej do,” ~ we pestered them constantly, but they always made sure our cups of happiness arrived with a smile. But now, as we move to a new space, it feels like saying goodbye to an old friend who understood our moods better than anyone. From the moments they put up with our endless beverage demands to handling our 'kuch accha khane ka mann kar raha hai' tantrums, Sandwich Smugglers truly became our support system.
