The total scope of Diaphragm Wall for these two packages is approximately 1,00,000 square meters. Employing a blend of BAUER Trench Cutters (MC128 BC40 & MC96 BC40) along with BAUER Grabs (GB50 DHG-V and GB34 DHG-V), we tackle challenging geotechnical conditions, characterized by Grade II and Grade III rocks. Despite these challenges, our site management ensures planned productivity, maintaining efficiency. Operations involve meticulous planning, including traffic diversion strategies and island preparations for seamless traffic management. Safety and quality are paramount, with inhouse innovations like Virtual Site Installer (a digital tool) empowering our team to visualize the project comprehensively at each stage, thereby enhancing project efficiency and minimizing risks. Presently, BAUER is engaged in the construction of an 880mm diameter Vertical Drain and a 70-meter-deep Plastic Concrete Cut-off Wall, which will commence soon. The Klemm Rigs (KLEMM KR909-2 & KR 806-3D) and Piling Rigs (BG 28 and BG 40) have been mobilized in challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions. 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐄𝐑'𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐕𝐈 𝐇𝐄𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐒𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐦 BAUER Engineering India is currently making progress with the Slope Stabilization works involving Piles and Anchors, as well as the construction of Cut-off Walls (Phase-2) of the Teesta-VI HEP project in Sikkim, India. The Teesta-VI HEP project is a 500MW run-of-river project by National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. (Jaypee Group) has tasked the foundation engineering works to BAUER. Phase-1 works for Jet Grouting, and the construction of Cut-off Walls have been completed. Despite facing a GLOF in October 2023, which resulted in the loss of substancial resources, the site team rallied resiliently and intensified efforts to meet project requirements. Utilizing a range of equipment, such as the BAUER Trench Cutter (MC96#BC40), BAUER Piling Rigs (BG 30), and BAUER Klemm Rigs (KLEMM KR909 – 2 & KR 806 -3D) designed for various drilling tasks, particularly for the installation of anchors and grouting works in different soil conditions, the site team has set a benchmark for excellence and value engineering.
