What does it take to sustain growth for 30 years in a dynamic industry like real estate? Andrew Lim, CFA MBA and Sanjeev Dasgupta sat down with Ritwika Gupta from ET Now Leaders of Tomorrow to discuss CapitaLand Investment India's 30-year journey, the milestones we’ve achieved, and what lies ahead. Andrew said: "We have announced that our intention is to more than double our fund management (FUM) by 2028 in India. This accelerates our presence in India proportionally to our plans for the rest of the world. It goes back to the excitement, confidence, and commitment we have for India as a whole." Sanjeev said: "I'm quite proud to say that I'm associated with the company that built India's first IT park. Taking on from there again the other businesses we are in, which are logistics and data centers. So, the quality of infrastructure and the kind of job creation these investments have done - I'm really happy to be associated with." He shared insights on India’s economic and real estate landscape, and the major structural reforms and regulatory changes that have made the country attractive to investors.   At the fireside chat moderated by Alpin Mehta, Head of Real Estate and Deputy Head of Private Equity Fund Investments, Temasek, Sanjeev highlighted key factors that have positioned CLI as a market leader:   ⭐ High-Quality Products and Deep Local Expertise CLI focuses on building state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities led by the on-ground team who have strong domain knowledge, making CLI the preferred partner for multinational companies setting up global capability centres in India.   ⭐ Solid Global Tenant Network  Through CLI’s strong global network of tenants, CLI is able to better cater to these tenants’ specific needs for office spaces within our business parks in India. These clients are from high-end technology solutions and R&D sectors including semiconductors and aviation.
