#MyBodyandMePoemJam Poem #4 - #Pimples Pimples/acne typically starts around the age of puberty – as early as the age of 9 and can go on for a few years. Pimples can occur on the face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders. Growing up with pimples can have a severe effect on the body image and self-esteem of a child - It is important to teach your children that pimples are a fundamental part of biological changes while growing up. Is it normal? - YES! Is it something to be worried about? - NO! Here is a poem by Bhoomika Halemane on 'Pimples' and their effect on the self-esteem of a growing child. . . #menstrualhygiene #selfesteem #adolescenthealtheducation #poemseries #mybodyandme #socialemotionallearning #confidence #selfconfidence #mentalhealthawareness #women #parenting #parenteducation #men #gender #pimples #acne #bodyimage #positivebodyimage #puberty #selfcare #bodysafety #selflove #embraceself #adolescenteducation #sexeducation #gendersensitization #socialandemotionallearning #SEL #CSRD #mybodymychoice #Imthebossofmybody #poetry #poetryseries #poem #poemjam #poetryforsocialchange #poemsthatmatter #poemsmatter #journalwriting #write #express #voiceout

These are achieved using innovative and experiential based learning techniques such as Applied Theater, self-reflective tools and immersive exercises. Our methodologies are applied in empowering participants to ensure sustainability, quality of life and right to informed choices. Vision : Socio – economic development of marginalized communities and environment protection in rural and urban sectors of India. Mission : We thrive to mobilize various marginalized communities by helping them make informed choices through innovative educational tools on health, safety, capacity building, environment and enhanced livelihood opportunities to ensure a proactive and just society. Methodology : Our training methodologies are rooted in active participation. In order to make the sessions highly interactive and support lasting behavior change, we use experiential techniques such as applied theater, interactive activities and games. CSRD has two main sister concern bodies namely, Prastuti and Paryaya. Prastuti : Prastuti is involved in working towards achieving a gender equal society by empowering women through various support systems of which vocational training programmes, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) formulations, seminars, theater workshops and skill development courses are a few.
