The CII CEOs Delegation to Brazil met with Mr Ping Soon Kok, CEO, Singapore Business Federation. Highlighting the growing diplomatic ties between India and Singapore, particularly following the recent visit of the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India to Singapore and the upcoming 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two economies in 2025, the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between CII and SBF. Key areas included the training of technicians and imparting technical knowledge in semiconductors, a focus area under the CII Model Skills Centre. The CII CEO's Delegation to Brazil met with Mr Josue Gomes, President, Fiesp - Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo and 1st Vice President of CIESP and Mr Rafael Cervone, President, Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Ciesp) and 1st Vice President, Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) and Mr vinicius neves dos santos, Head of international agreements of FIESP. During the meeting, the key areas of potential for strengthening the global south agenda were discussed particularly in sustainability, food production, healthcare, neuroscience and ethanol technology collaboration.
