The 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 (#JICWELS) in collaboration with the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 (𝗖𝗜𝗜) and The Japan Foundation organized an informative seminar, "𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 '𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗼' 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻" , at CII Gurgaon, to #recruit Indian youth in the 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻. With over 30% of its population above the age of 65, Japan has a pressing need for qualified caregivers. The Japanese workforce alone is not sufficient to meet this need, making skilled workers from countries like India essential to fill the gap. The seminar highlighted the Japanese concept of #Kaigo, which translates to caregiving. It provided valuable insights into Japan's nursing care sector, the application process (including #SpecifiedSkilledWorker Programme), necessary exams (Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test, Nursing Care Japanese Evaluation Test, JLPT N4/JLPT Basic), and the benefits of becoming a 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 in Japan. The session also offered practical tips for learning Japanese effectively and communicating seamlessly in daily life and the workplace. Sharing their personal experiences, young Indian professionals working in Japanese nursing care inspired attendees.
