So, I thought nothing of it and tried again after some time, only to see the same error message. Feeling confident that my funds were safe, I logged into my bank’s net banking to check. To my shock, the amount had been debited twice despite the app’s reassurance. The core issue here is simple: the app reflected the wrong message to the user. Imagine the confusion and frustration this can cause for people who rely on clear, trustworthy communication from a financial app. Incorrect information like this can cause a lot of stress and inconvenience, especially when money is involved. Determined to sort things out, I decided to reach out to their customer support via chat, hoping for a quick resolution. After a while, a support representative joined the chat. She asked me for the transaction ID, even though I had already mentioned that it was about a specific amount during a specific time. I informed her that I was worried the chat would disconnect if I navigated to another screen to get the transaction ID. She confidently assured me that it wouldn’t. But guess what? As I had feared, the moment I switched screens, the chat disconnected. What made it worse was how difficult it had been to even reach them via chat in the first place. The entire process was frustrating, and it made me realize something: tech companies, no matter how advanced, often overlook a crucial aspect — their users. It’s not just tech-savvy people using these apps; common users from all walks of life rely on them. These platforms need to be designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, catering to everyone from the tech experts to the layman. User-friendliness isn’t just a feature; it’s essential. Companies need to rethink how they build their apps and customer support systems to be accessible and intuitive for everyone.
