BasiGo has successfully secured $42 million in new funding, comprising $24 million from a Series A equity round led by Africa50 and $17.5 million in debt financing from the British International Investment (BII) and the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Tata Motors has started deliveries of the Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel & Logistics Private Limited - CGF, a leading green fuel retailing and logistics company. Tata Motors had received an order to supply 150 such trucks. The first batch of the trucks was delivered today and the remaining will be delivered in a phased manner. Tata Motors has received a prestigious order from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (#UPSRTC) to supply 1,000 units of the Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis. Indore is set to become the first tier-two city in India to introduce a double-decker bus service. A robust charging infrastructure is being established at over 2,000 locations, including petrol stations and bus depots, to support this initiative.
