🐅 If you are a CILS6 attendee, sign up for an optional field visit to the wildlife underpasses at NH-44 — the first highway of the country to incorporate wildlife mitigation structures — on 10 January 2025, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am! Highways often disrupt critical wildlife corridors, but engineered solutions like wildlife underpasses reconnect habitats and reduce roadkill. NH-44, connecting Pench and Kanha Tiger Reserves, stands as a model for such solutions, used by tigers, leopards, and gaurs. This event is organized with support from the Maharashtra State Forest Department and Pench Tiger Reserve. Register here: https://shorturl.at/kSoGD. The form will close at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, 6 January. #Jugalbandi #CentralIndia
