About us
"Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) was established in 1999 with the charter for policy advocacy in favour of housing and real estate. In this endeavour, CREDAI interacts with Government, academics and media. In particular, CREDAI partners with the Government in its programme of ‘Housing for All by 2022. CREDAI promotes fair play and transparency in the business of real estate. In particular, to safeguard the interest of home buyers, the members of CREDAI voluntarily adopt a ‘Code of Conduct’. Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum has been set up to serve as the first port of call for home buyers to register their complaints and have them resolved efficiently and cost-effectively. CREDAI is the prime knowledge sharing forum for latest industry data, technological advancements and industry benchmarks. CREDAI has emerged as the preferred platform with regard to the national discourse on Housing and Habitat through strong networking with Government, Policy Makers, Investors, Financial Institutions and Real Estate Developers. This is reflected in its membership base comprising more than 11,940 members today across 23 state and 204 city chapters. CREDAI targets to reach at least 300 cities by the end of March 2019. The convening power of CREDAI is mobilized to hold 4-8 conclaves and conferences annually that are attended by 800-1000 decisions makers of real estate and that serve as a platform for deliberation of policy. To facilitate the synthesis of CSR and Sustainability initiatives of CREDAI Members across the country, CREDAI has set up CREDAI CSR FOUNDATION on May 18, 2015. The Foundation, supported initially through voluntary contributions of CREDAI’s registered members, has trained 1 lakh construction workers. It hopes to double that number over the next two years. CREDAI Clean City Movement ensures zero solid waste from over 1.60 lakh apartments.
