The event focused on the experiences of Indian entrepreneurs and startups concerning policy issues, technology, and commercialization.

Generative AI, notably Large Language Models (LLMs), has garnered attention for its ability to engage in human-like conversations and create coherent text, raising speculation about progress towards Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). However, LLMs' limitations in enterprise decision-making underscore the need for a holistic AI approach. LLMs operate probabilistically, lacking comprehension of cause-and-effect relationships crucial for reasoning and critical thinking. Human knowledge relies on causal relationships, unlike LLMs' probabilistic approach, leading to shortcomings in reasoning and comprehension. Challenges such as hallucinations, bias, and limited interpretability hinder LLMs' adoption for decision-making in enterprises. Merely scaling LLMs or increasing training data won't address these gaps; AI requires additional capabilities, particularly reasoning on cause and effect, for both short-term enterprise use and long-term AGI development. #curl #ai #casualai #genai #llm

Ransomware groups new and old reported nearly 4,000 victims on their leak sites in 2023, up from about 2,700 in 2022. Following two years of high but stable activity, 2023 has seen a worrying resurgence in ransomware and extortion losses, as the cyberthreat landscape continues to evolve.
