Well well well, looks like our fellow Dolphins go way back. It takes two equally crabby (and intelligent) characters to cook some creativity! These two are the perfect example.
Senior to Saviour? Leaving my silly little hometown at 18 and moving to a completely new, big city was something I had always dreamed of. But more importantly, I was eager to look out, intervene, and participate - in anything and everything. One of these included finally putting my writing habit to some use. 2 years in, I was still struggling with the task of settling down and finding "my thing". But I'm not going to talk about myself in this post. I'm going to talk about Sohira - my college senior-turned-'boss' and how he's a contributor to the path I've been trying to find. (I hope he doesn't read this) Wait. That's quite a boring way of introducing him. Well, imagine if Chitvan from TVF Tripling was actually a professional but the same level of chill. He somehow manages to keep things light while making sure I'm not losing it at every little task. Funny thing is, back in college, I never actually interacted with him, now I ping him every two minutes with a new crisis. (Sohira Kshemkalyani I'm sure you you love it 🤗) I quite frankly despise him at times for every challenge he throws my way, but it eventually turns into a learning process. If I have to sum up in a sentence, he's taught me to be tough, upfront and fearless (with a little arrogance when needed). Plus it's always a blast to gossip about college drama as an adult (am I right or am I right?) So, here’s to Sohira - my first work mentor, or as we say at Digiphin, a true Dolphin. Thanks for being my unofficial tech support and for proving that being scared is optional. And, of course, for handling my constant stream of questions with a smile (and maybe an eye roll). #Digiphin
