Our Information Security team has crafted a comprehensive program aimed at integrating cybersecurity awareness into our daily practice and to improve cybersecurity habits. This initiative is particularly timely, as emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (#AI) continue to bring remarkable benefits, but also introduce new and potential cybersecurity risks. With the advancement in AI technology, #Deepfakes have significant implications for media authenticity, trust, and security, as it generates convincing yet fake images, videos, and audio. While it has legitimate applications in entertainment, research, and customer support, it’s potential for malicious misuse – spreading disinformation – raises concerns. Deepfakes are created by training neural networks to replicate patterns, typically facial features. Fortunately, researchers are developing detection methods to identify and flag deepfakes, making it easier to distinguish fact from fiction.

As we harness the power of emerging technologies like #AI, our Information Security team remains vigilant, dedicated to fostering a culture of security awareness. During this Cybersecurity Awareness Month (#CAM), our team has curated a diverse range of engaging initiatives, featuring educational games and interactive activities to build awareness through the power of immersive experiences. Through this initiative, we aim to create increased awareness about the evolving threats in the digital landscape, reinforce our best practices and compliance, to ensure that DISH is cyber-resilient. Retail Wireless Development team at the India center is a pivotal extension of Boost Mobile. They are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining APIs that manage customer onboarding and interactions to the newly built Digital Operator Platform (DOP), including the integration with DISH's very own #5G network. As the bedrock solution of digital transformation in the telecom industry, API provides a strong foundation in the app development process and enables seamless integration across various business domains. This team ensures secure and scalable API integrations for payment gateways, orchestrating new line activations, number portability, network integrations, loyalty programs, invoices & billing, enabling device financing options, to name a few. They also facilitate real-time data exchange, which enables in making informed business decisions and enhancing customer experiences to drive growth. Additionally, the DOP core layer managed by our team features end-to-end customer management with a robust integration layer built on microservices architecture and middleware platforms, enabling interactions between various business domains. The team has successfully created smooth, cohesive and personalised experience for over 7 million Boost Mobile customers, harnessing industry-leading technologies in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
