Exciting Announcement! Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad is organizing the International Conference on Digital Technologies for Business Excellence and Sustainable Development (ICDTBE 2025) on July 5-6, 2025, with a pre-conference workshop on July 4, 2025. This hybrid conference will bring together academicians, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss key topics such as AI & ML, Blockchain, IoT, Business Analytics, Sustainability, Financial Management, Operations Management, and more. The conference is being led by Prof. Prem Vrat Chairperson, BOG, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad; Prof. Sukumar Mishra Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad; and Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. The advisory committee includes senior deans, professors, and industry leaders from organizations such as Coal India Ltd., ONGC, Tata Steel, NTPC, SAIL, and more. The organizing team includes Prof. Sandeep Mondal, Head of the DMSIE, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Prof. Rashmi Singh; Prof. ESHA SAHA; and Prof. Niladri Das, along with several esteemed faculty members. Abstract submissions are open until April 21, 2025, with full paper submissions due by May 30, 2025, and early bird registration closing on May 9, 2025. A Historic Milestone for Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad! We are delighted to announce the successful inauguration of the GIAN Program on Systems Engineering and Applications at the DMSIE, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. Held on February 24, 2025, at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, this marks the first-ever GIAN program in the department. The event was graced by Prof. JK Pattanayak, Prof. M. K. Singh (Dean, Academics), Prof. Sagar Pal (Dean, R&D), and Prof. R M Bhattacharjee (Dean, IRAA), making it a significant step toward advancing interdisciplinary learning in systems engineering.
