On October 26th, 2024, the EchoView Society hosted its orientation session for new team members at the Faculty of Arts. The session commenced with an introduction to the society's operations by our Operational Head, Suhani Agrahari, followed by a detailed discussion of future plans and essential norms led by President Himanshu Raj. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts and teamwork in achieving our goals. Team heads Anchal Singh (Creative Head), Mritunjay (Logistics Head), Navin Kumar (Logistics Team Member), Agrima (Content Team Member), Avantika (PR Head), Shreya (Anchor Team) and Akshita (Editorial Team Member) shared their valuable insights and experiences. The newcomers then introduced themselves, expressing their aspirations and potential contributions to the club. And what’s an orientation without some fun? We dove into a thrilling gaming session followed by a jamming session that had us belting out tunes and bonding like never before. As the day wrapped up, our President, Himanshu Raj & our Vice President, Aditya Jha, delivered a heartfelt thank you and welcome message, reminding us all that together, we can achieve great things. As we wrap up *'Avyaan'24*,' let's take a nostalgic stroll down memory lane with these pictures. This event brought together history buffs, mythology enthusiasts, and current event aficionados from every department and faculty. The preliminary rounds saw an overwhelming response, with participants showcasing their knowledge and zeal. And only eight exceptional individuals made it to the mains round, where the battle intensified. In the final round, tensions ran high, and margins were slim. But in the end, *Shivangi Singh* emerged victorious, with *Ishaan Srivastava* and *Aditi Jaiswal* claiming well-deserved runner-up spots. Helen Keller was a remarkable American author, disability rights advocate, political activist, and lecturer. Born in 1880, she lost her sight and hearing at 19 months old due to an illness. Despite these challenges, Keller learned to communicate through the tireless efforts of her teacher, Anne Sullivan. She went on to graduate from Radcliffe College, becoming the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Keller's life and work have inspired millions, demonstrating that determination and perseverance can overcome even the most daunting obstacles.
