We are often asked about our strategy—how we mobilize women for non-traditional roles, how we managed to stay afloat, and how we’ve sustained nearly nine years in a space where many organizations have come and gone. The answer is simple: we go into the community, connect with people, and stay committed for as long as it takes. Creating behavior change takes time, and we are patient in our efforts to see a future where jobs are not defined by gender. Here are a few glimpses from one of our recent community engagement drives. #womeneconomicempowerment #wee #genderequity #ecommerce #logistics #womeninlogistics #womenempowerment

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a highly insightful #RoundTableConference on Last Mile Logistics, hosted by #Zomato. The discussions underscored the importance of conducting comprehensive on-the-ground research to better understand the barriers and solutions within the delivery ecosystem. We emphasized how Even Cargo for nearly a decade, has been working to address these challenges by creating opportunities for women in logistics, tackling safety concerns, and breaking the perception that delivery roles are male-dominated. Digital mobilization and content-driven marketing were highlighted as crucial tools for raising awareness and driving inclusion. Changing the narrative around women in delivery roles will require collective efforts and strategic initiatives to build safer, more inclusive work environments. #WomenInLogistics #LastMileDelivery #Inclusion #GiGEconomy

On this special day, we reflect on the words of Mahatma Gandhi: "If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man's superior." Gandhi Ji’s vision of equality continues to inspire our mission to empower women, create inclusive spaces, and foster gender equity in the workforce. Together, let’s celebrate his legacy by building a future where women thrive, lead, and contribute their strength to the world. #GandhiJayanti #WomenEmpowerment #GenderEquality #EvenCargo #InclusiveWorkforce #MahatmaGandhi #MoralStrength

I’ve been deeply disturbed by the tragic incident involving the EY employee, and it has made me reflect on the importance of workplace culture. As someone working in People Operations, I’ve always felt that creating a safe, inclusive space is the foundation of any organization’s success. I’d like to share a few ways we’re addressing challenges at Even Cargo, in the hope that our experiences might be helpful to others. 1. Open Communication Channels: We have an open-door policy that encourages everyone to share their thoughts and concerns freely. It helps foster a culture of transparency and ensures that everyone feels heard and valued. 2. Involvement in Decision-Making: Our employees are not just participants but active contributors to high-level discussions. They attend important meetings and are involved in decisions that affect the organization, fostering trust and accountability. 3. Flexible Work Environment: Work-life balance is something we prioritize. We offer flexible working conditions to support the personal needs of our team, allowing them the space to recharge when needed. 4. Skill Development and Professional Growth: We invest in the growth of our employees by providing access to skill enrichment programs. This focus on continuous learning ensures that our team evolves both personally and professionally. As I reflect on the heartbreaking incident, it serves as a sobering reminder of why we must continuously strive to make workplaces safer, especially for women. Every individual deserves to feel secure, supported, and valued in their place of work. At Even Cargo, we are more than just an organization—we are a community that cares deeply for one another, and that’s what drives us to create these positive changes. Ultimately, it's not just about policies or procedures; it’s about the human connections we foster. When we look out for each other, we create a ripple effect that goes far beyond our immediate workspaces. Together, we can build a future where no one ever feels unheard, undervalued, or unsafe. #happyworkplace #evencargo #workculture #gigeconomy #together #peopleoperations #HR
