Here we are, monkey brains trying to make sense of the vast cosmos. If only the universe knew how hilariously overconfident we can be, considering we only know so much. #science #sciencequotes #stephenhawking #stephenhawkingquote #stephenhawkingquotes #universe #cosmos #cosmology #astronomy #astronomylovers #scienceworld #universetoday #astrophysics #evincism

China has more carbon emissions higher than the rest of the top 3 combined! The top three carbon-emitting countries — China, the United States, and India — have emerged as dominant global economies, each with unique drivers of their emissions. China, now the largest emitter, has seen its emissions surge since the 2000s, propelled by rapid industrialization, mass manufacturing, and urbanization. Heavy reliance on coal, which still powers much of its energy needs, coupled with being the world's production hub, has kept its emissions growing despite efforts toward renewable energy. The United States has historically been a high emitter due to its energy-intensive lifestyle, transportation systems, and large industrial base. While its emissions have stabilized, and even declined in recent years, this is largely due to the shift toward cleaner energy sources like natural gas and renewables, rather than a significant drop in consumption or industrial activity. India has seen a steady rise in emissions, driven by rapid population growth, expanding industrial activity, and increasing energy demand. Much of this growth comes from reliance on coal for electricity generation, as well as expanding infrastructure and urban development. However, as a developing economy, India's per capita emissions remain relatively low compared to other major economies. #climatechange #climatecrisis #carbonemissions #greenhousegas #greenhousegases #ghgemissions #climatechangeisreal #climateaction #science #environment #environmentalscience #globalwarming #worldfacts #sciencefacts #sciencefact #environmentconservation #climatechangeawareness #climateactivism #evincism

Dive into the Depths of Cosmic Symmetry: Our journey through the cosmos is guided by a fundamental assumption known as the Cosmological Principle. This principle, rooted in the heart of cosmology, paints a picture of a universe that is both uniform and isotropic on grand scales. But the validity of this principle is going through some questions and doubts as well. So we have organized it all under one article so you can understand this concept and its implication in cosmology easily. https://lnkd.in/dkY94UEA Hope you'll enjoy reading it and learn something new. #cosmology #astronomy #universe #cosmos #research #science

Writing the tale of the Universe is a challenging task; nonetheless, we tried. It's not that we worked for a few days to compile it; it's the work of generations of philosophers, physicists, and cosmologists. Let's delve into the tale of the genesis of the Universe. https://lnkd.in/dY_NtizA
