💗Building Strong Foundations for Maternity Care 💗 Fernandez team successfully facilitated a five-day training on Essential Childbirth Course at SMTI Guntur in AP, from 20 to 24 January. It was supported by WHO and Aastrika Foundation. 💡Led by our midwifery team, the training gave 44 participants insights into stages of labour, practising respectful maternity care and WHO recommendations and tools for evidence-based care for women and newborns. This was the first implementation of the ECBC course modules adapted to the Indian context at SMTI Guntur. 👩🏻🏫 The realistic simulations were packed with practical knowledge and inspired the learners to implement their learnings in their work.
