We had the privilege of celebrating World Food Day 2024 on 16th October at the Institute Of Chemical Technology , in collaboration with the AFST Mumbai Chapter and supported by the Nutrition Society of India Mumbai Chapter.✨ This year’s theme, "Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future", was central to the event, which featured insightful lectures. Vijaya Chakravarty delivered the Dr. K. U. Naram Memorial Lecture on Spices and Stories, followed by Sharad Barlingay, CFS Prof. D. V. Rege Memorial Lecture on Clean Label Starches, and Rajib Saha's Prof. Shrinivasan Memorial Lecture. The celebration concluded with the presentation of the M. M. Chitle Entrepreneur Award🏆 and the Dr. K. U. Naram Academic Achievement Awards🏆, honoring innovation and academic excellence.
