From Motichoor Laddu in North India to Payasam in the South, we have varied undiscovered dishes astride Indian states. Let's learn more about 4 such traditional snacks prepared exclusively on the occasion of Diwali 1. Anarsa Anarsa or Hilsa is a traditional sweet fritter made with rice flour and jaggery. It is tossed in poppy seeds and deep-fried in ghee. Anarsa can be flavoured with fruits such as mango, jackfruit and banana. It is made across Maharashtra, Karnataka and Bihar. 2. Chorafali Sprinkled with chilli powder and amchur powder, Chorafali is a gluten-free snack from Gujarat, made from gram flour and urad flour.
