These are my thoughts on developed India. Indians, do you believe that Mr. Narayan Murthy is right? My response is affirmative. Now, you might ask me to explain why. The unequivocal answer lies in the profound passion for our nation. Whether we are politicians, bureaucrats, laborers, soldiers, teachers, doctors, engineers, scientists, or producers (farmers or manufacturers), the order I presented does signify a hierarchy. These individuals dedicate their days and nights to the nation's development, recognizing that building a nation demands sacrifices from all. Narayan Murthy Sir emphasizes this commitment, not necessarily for those who have crossed 40 or 50 years but particularly for the younger generation, aged around 22 or 24. They possess the capability to endure the mental and physical demands of working 14 to 15 hours a day, fueled by their passion. Achieving this is possible by following a path where stress is minimized, complemented by maintaining physical health through 45 to 60 minutes of moderate exercise. After completing my mandatory service in the defense force and entering middle age, I pursued my passion for analyzing data. During this phase, I dedicated a substantial amount of time, working 12 to 15 hours a day to learn and to establish my own company, yet I never felt fatigued (based on my experience). If I, at my age, can accomplish this without feeling tired, then undoubtedly, the younger generation can surpass me. The key lies in cultivating a mindset to contribute to the nation, as Murthy Sir advocates. Reflect on what the West achieved after the Second World War. Could they have become a developed country by working only 8 hours a day? Most likely not. They dedicated tireless efforts, working 12 to 14 hours a day for 20 to 30 years, paving their way to development. In conclusion, I have a concern directed towards bright minds, such as those from IITs, IIMs, AIMS, and IISc. Are you working for a country that provided you facilities, or are you working solely for personal comfort for 12 to 14-hour a day in another country? If your answer is the former, we are indeed blessed. If it is the latter, then it is up to us, the common Indians, to collectively build a developed Bharat/India by passionately contributing to our motherland.
