Celebrating a third hospital win in Peru! We’re proud to share that the UK Healthcare Alliance - UKHA, a partnership between Gleeds, AECOM and Currie & Brown has been awarded an additional high-complexity hospital in Peru.  The Guillermo Diaz de la Vega Hospital is the only secondary care hospital in the Apurímac region, serving over 480,000 residents, most of whom live in rural areas. This vital resource will provide significantly improved facilities for surrounding communities, which will minimise the need for patients to travel to Lima for specialised care. The appointment follows Gleeds' contribution to two other hospitals in regional hospitals in Piura and Trujillo, through our work with PRONIS (National Health Investment Programme). We’re looking forward to contributing to the delivery of this much-needed project, as well as sharing best practice to ensure the highest standard of healthcare for years to come. https://lnkd.in/diHCPkjS #UKHA #ProjectManagement #PRONIS #Infraestructura #Perú Photo credits: Presidencia Perú

Viability, argues Head of Development Paul Dennison, is the most significant of these challenges. In our latest insights piece, Paul explores the obstacles facing the market, and what the potential solutions to the issue of viability might be.
