Don’t miss out on this artistic genius that will brighten your Sun-day! #GoodAdsMatter To shine a light on Artipelag's "I Follow the Sun" exhibition in Sweden, Sweet designed a striking OOH campaign inspired by the way sunflowers move in line with the sun! The exhibition portrayed different symbolic portrayals of sunflowers by Nordic artists–in paintings, sculptures, and photographs, dating from 1889 to date. The sunflower’s natural movement to the sun inspired this interactive design for the OOH. A brilliant display of creativity that is sure to make your day—or night. Are you still following? Not every fall is an accident. #GoodAdsMatter In Brazil, domestic violence remains a critical issue, with 29 women being assaulted every hour. Just days ago, Instituto Nós Por Elas, a Brazilian organisation championing gender justice, unveiled captivating, or perhaps more fittingly, enslaving, visuals—as part of their powerful domestic violence awareness campaign. These striking visuals juxtapose the harsh reality of an abuser's punch with the common excuses women use for their injuries—like tripping over a rug or slipping in the bathroom—all because they fear abusers won't face any consequence. The campaign draws attention to the Maria da Penha Law (2006) that establishes criminal sanctions and stricter sentences against offenders, as well as other prevention methods in cities, such as special police bodies and shelters for women. On the fifth anniversary of the law in August 2011, the National Council of Justice in Brazil reported encouraging outcomes: over 331,000 prosecutions, 110,000 final judgments, and close to two million calls made to the Women's Service Center. This campaign has uncovered the truths that are often slid under the rug, while serving as a powerful, and more importantly, consequential, voice for victims of domestic abuse. Remember when you turned the living room into a fortress of pillows and furniture? #GoodAdsMatter As kids, we were little mechanics, crafting experimental creations from whatever we could find. Our imaginations ran wild, leaving both our play spaces and our parents in disarray. Before they knew it, we’d be off to our next adventure, leaving behind a trail of chaos for them to clean up. In 2018, Detsky Mir, the children’s goods retailer, cleverly tapped into this playful chaos with this campaign. The tongue-in-cheek humor of the narrative shines through with visuals like a motorcycle crafted from table fans and a rocket assembled from stacked kitchen furniture! Accompanied by a warning sign and a provoking copy, “Before it’s too late,” the campaign smartly highlights the creative chaos kids can unleash, nudging parents to shop smartly before their homes become playgrounds of invention. Instead of focusing on preventing the kids from being kids, the brand shifted the spotlight to the parents—the real unsung heroes dealing with the aftermath of those imaginative messes. They turned their struggles into a clever and relatable marketing strategy! 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄! War or home? Or is it a war for home? #GoodAdsMatter Despite being a stable economy for over a decade, thousands of Paraguayan families live without decent housing. TECHO, an organisation fighting poverty, collaborated with photojournalist Rodrigo Abd, two-time Pulitzer Prize winner (2013 and 2023) to document the unsettling settlements where people reside. This awareness campaign was launched just recently, with the photos being displayed on the streets of Asunción, converting the city into a photo gallery for the citizens to witness. The alarming visuals invite people to peek into the harsh reality of these poverty-stricken families, living without basic services under unsafe housing that almost resembles the aftermath of a war. The fitting copy–“War or Home?”–strikes just the right chord and conveys a strong message about the crisis at hand. We often get so used to these informal settlements that they fade into the background. This campaign shines a light on the issue, making us question whether anyone should have to live as if they’re fighting a battle every single day. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄! If you aren’t familiar with the famous series of Dutch commercials for Centraal Beheer, an insurance company based in the Netherlands, you are about to be blown away. #GoodAdsMatter Their humour and visual storytelling has consistently hit the mark since the campaign’s introduction in 1985. Their slogan, “Even Apeldoorn Bellen”, which loosely translates to “Just call us”, is a famous tagline in the Netherlands, and appears in each of their commercials—usually after the protagonist is wound up in serious trouble. If you are watching one of their ads, you know something very unfortunate but funny is going to happen. This ad, titled “Commercial Feest”, is no different. It starts as a surprise office party for an old employee, who hardly sees the need for it, but when his colleague starts stripping for him, he is rather into it! Turns out, the party is at the fire department and the music he is dancing to, is in perfect sync with an actual fire alarm! This campaign will never fail to crack you up and unlock fears you didn’t know you had. Let us know what you think! 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄! When Coca-Cola converted the whole world into an ad! #GoodAdsMatter You’ve probably seen those quirky Coca-Cola logos outside local shops and mini-markets that aren’t quite “official”. Instead of fixing or suing them, Coca-Cola embraced indigenous creativity. Just recently, the brand popped off a clever move with its campaign, "Thanks for Coke-Creating", which validated countless versions of its logo through prominent OOH and print ads, customized cans, vending machines, and trucks. Partnering with these shops and celebrating their artwork was a smart way for Coca-Cola to acknowledge their role in shaping the brand’s cultural footprint. Bagging several Golds and Silvers at the Cannes Lions, the campaign connected with diverse audiences and kept the brand’s relevance in today’s world fizzing up to the brim! In a world where everyone leaves their mark, Coca-Cola shows that the best way to refresh a classic is to let others "Coke-create". Cheers to that! It’s amazing how one man’s dream is another man’s nightmare. #GoodAdsMatter We have heard how important sleep is for everyone—but here’s the twist. Purple Mattress, where even unwanted guests can’t resist its comfort. This hilarious ad, titled, “Don’t let your mattress steal your sleep”, follows two burglars who, while robbing a house, get distracted by a Purple mattress. Before they know it, they fall asleep and wake up snuggled next to two police officers, who couldn’t resist the comfort either! Not exactly the kind of wake-up call you would want in the morning. With its fun twist, the ad delivers a rock-solid message in the softest and cosiest way possible (pun intended).
