We are incredibly thrilled to be a part of this amazing initiative. Through this initiative, we aim to promote universality, inclusion and impact in and through sport and physical activity for social enterprises in India. Here's to creating a universal SAPA in India with every child playing a sport, and every Indian active. #sports #SAPA #talent #socialentreprises #incubator #gosportsfoundation #changethescript
The Sports and Society Accelerator is pleased to announce the launch of the Billion Plus Sports Incubator in partnership with the GoSports Foundation. The Incubator is a joint project aimed at fostering talent, enhancing sectoral capabilities, and leveraging the economic and social benefits of sport and physical activity (SAPA). Partnering with a variety of organizations, the Incubator will launch scalable programs and nurture promising social enterprises that use SAPA to benefit underrepresented and marginalized groups. Through tailored interventions such as grants, technology assistance, athlete scholarships, and capacity building, the Incubator will foster organizational growth and development. At SSA, supporting the ecosystem through the Incubator will be a key part of our Mission 100, which envisions an India with every child playing and every Indian active. Thank You Siddhant Jain for sharing this. We at GoSports Foundation are cheering for the Indian contingent! Share your wishes to the exceptional athletes in the comments below. #GSFAtParis
As we approach the grandest spectacle, it's time to address some frequently asked questions before the games begin! ➡️ Where are the #Olympics being held, and how long will they last? The Olympics are being held in #Paris from July 26th to August 11th. Although the Indian challenge will conclude by August 8th, the event will remain a 15-day spectacle for all of us to enjoy. While some games will begin on July 24th, the opening ceremony will take place on July 26th, with significant Indian participation starting on July 27th. ➡️ How can I stream the Olympics in India? #Viacom18 has secured the broadcasting rights for the Olympics. The #Sports18 Network on TV will provide coverage across multiple channels. #JioCinema will offer digital streaming with multiple feeds, including a dedicated Indian feed. Notably, streaming on JioCinema will be completely free of cost unlike the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This paywall-free access aims to encourage a larger audience to tune in and watch the Olympics. ➡️ How many athletes have qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024? A total of 117 Indian athletes have qualified for the #ParisOlympics. This is slightly less than the 124 athletes who participated in Tokyo 2020, which was India’s largest contingent to date. The absence of the Women's Hockey team from this year's Olympics affected the numbers, otherwise, we could have surpassed the previous tally. Complete list of qualified athletes can be found here - https://shorturl.at/nODM7 ➡️ What will be the usual timings for the events? There will be no early morning events, with all events starting post 11 AM IST. However, some events will extend past midnight, with some concluding around 2 AM IST. For instance, the Men's Javelin event is scheduled to start at 11:55 PM IST on August 8th. A day-wise schedule for the Indian contingent has been attached along with this post. As we gear up for the Olympics, let us all rally behind our athletes and showcase our national pride. Engage with the games, spread the word, and join in the spirit of rooting for Team #India. 🇮🇳

Several athletes supported by the GoSports Foundation have officially qualified for the upcoming Games in Paris! This is a monumental achievement, and it wouldn't have been possible without years of dedication, perseverance, and the support of our entire GoSports family and our Partners. Many of these athletes have been with us since the very beginning. We've witnessed their raw talent, their passion for sports, and their struggles along the way. Through thick and thin, the GoSports Foundation has been a constant presence, providing them with the resources they needed to thrive. GoSports Foundations’ athletes constitute close to 10% of the entire Indian contingent heading to Paris and we're incredibly proud to be a part of their journey, and we can't wait to see them shine on the biggest stage! We're cheering them on with every step they take. #GoSportsFoundation #olympic #paris2024 #olympics2024 #olympics #cheerforchampions #GSFatParis #ChangetheScript
