We’re excited to introduce GrabBenefits 2.0, our upgraded welfare programme crafted with love to support the well-being of our incredible driver- and delivery-partners in Singapore 🇸🇬! At Grab, our partners are the heartbeat of everything we do. Through constant conversations and feedback, we’ve gained invaluable insights into their needs and challenges. These insights have guided us in shaping our welfare offerings over the years. With GrabBenefits 2.0, we’re building on the benefits we’ve provided for many years, now aligning them with the upcoming platform worker regulations in Singapore to ensure that they stay relevant and meaningful, while complementing the incoming support provided by the legislation so that our partners are well-supported end-to-end. GrabBenefits 2.0 was unveiled at our Grab Health and Wellness event, where over 300 partners enjoyed complementary health, eye, and spinal checks, soothing massages, and fun lifestyle perks. 🩺 We were honoured to have Chee Meng Ng, Secretary-General of NTUC, as our Guest of Honour. Our Singapore Managing Director, Wee Tang Yee, also reaffirmed Grab’s unwavering commitment to partner well-being. A big thank you to the National Private Hire Vehicle Association (NPHVA), National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA), and everyone who made this event possible. We can’t wait to roll out these enhanced benefits next year and continue supporting our amazing partner community! 💚 #GrabSingapore #GrowWithGrab #Benefits

In the heart of our mission lies the belief that every step forward can change lives. Guided by the same, we recently donated some laptops to children in Indonesia and Thailand. 💻 In Indonesia, with the invaluable assistance of the ID Tech team, the GTS team donated 50 laptops to students in Subang, West Java. These laptops, initially set for scrapping as per Grab’s internal policy, have found a new purpose, empowering students with the tools they need to succeed. 👨🎓 A heartfelt thanks to our dedicated GTS team in Chiang Mai, Thailand, who meticulously wiped, checked, cleaned, and prepared 45 laptops to support the Group Internal Audit team at the Care Corner Orphanage Foundation. 👩💻 Special appreciation to Natchaya Khemphet for joining us despite the flooding challenges, ensuring these laptops were ready for the children. Alongside the laptop donation, we also treated the children to a meal and a shopping trip for school supplies, making the day even more memorable. This initiative highlights our commitment to sustainability. Together, we continue to drive positive change and make a lasting impact. 💚 #GrabThailand #GrabIndonesia #CommunitySupport #Sustainability #Empowerment #LASA

In the foyer of our Singapore office, there's a sign that reads, “The only way forward, is through.” A phrase that reflects Grab’s journey from its early days as MyTeksi, operating out of a storeroom in Malaysia, to becoming a superapp serving millions across Southeast Asia. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Anthony Tan, revisits the ups and downs of this journey in this conversation with CNBC International, shedding light on the motivations and aspirations driving our efforts to innovate and serve our community better. "If you're given so much, more is expected from you." Anthony Tan, co-founder and CEO of Grab, grew up as the youngest son in one of Malaysia's wealthiest families. He worked for his family's business, but when he left to pursue his own company, his father disowned him. However, Tan told CNBC that in a strange way, that devastating moment gave him the push he needed to make his company succeed. Watch our full interview now: https://cnb.cx/3U0dcH7

#GrabThailand, in collaboration with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) of Thailand and the Ministry of Labor, is pleased to continue the "Grab Wai Kao" (Elderly Drivers Support) Programme for its second year. This year, we're focusing on "Smart Aging, Graceful Living: Embracing Tech & AI", aiming to help elderly Thais become more comfortable with digital skills and new technologies like Generative AI, which can benefit them in daily life and supplement their income. As Thailand moves towards becoming a Super Aged Society, we're also promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being among seniors, while helping to boost their self-esteem. 👴👵 To celebrate the International Day of Older Persons on October 1, we've also introduced a travel guide, "Bangkok: Taste, Tour, Treasure". This guide, featuring attractions and food recommendations from our elderly drivers, offers a unique perspective on the city. 📖⛵️ More details here: https://lnkd.in/g-wtmxVQ
