The Valedictory session of the 6th edition of the Delhi University Sustainability Forum on October 25, 2024 began with the opening remarks by Ms. Mita Hussain, a faculty member of Harithkram who served as the convener of the student-led society from 2018 to 2021. She emphasized how a repository of the wisdom of the past can lead to practices that are good in present times and a sustainable future for the environment. It was followed by the felicitation of Col. Prof. Sanjay Shrivastava, Chairman, CROPC and Professor of Practice, TERI-SAS, New Delhi. Col. Sanjay Sir began his address on the note that SBSC is like a family to him. He was affirmative that interacting more with the students helps one to be more energized. He remarked that Delhi has a glamour (filled with opportunity as well as complexity) and that how one sails through the city matters. Having travelled through half the world, he believes that India is the best country in the world. To add to Harithkram’s legacy, he suggested that several research projects should be given to students in order to widen their perspectives. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for the School Students' Competition (Online Essay Competition), Harithkram Youth Summit for undergraduate students, and the National Photography Competition. School students and mentors too attended the insightful sessions. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Student Coordinators.
