About us
The Herbert Smith Freehills - National Law University, Delhi International Negotiation Competition, designed as a competitive educational experience aims to imitate professional legal negotiations. With the INC, Herbert Smith Freehills and National Law University seek to give law students from top universities around the world to learn and hone their negotiating skills. In a diverse and challenging set-up, the competition has been carefully structured to simulate legal negotiations particularly for students desirous of becoming international lawyers. Established in 2014 and hosted at NLU Delhi, the HSF - NLU Delhi INC, as the first competition of its kind in India (and probably in Asia) has earned a special significance among law universities around the world. The event, over its seven editions has received widespread acclaim for its well-drafted negotiations simulations, quality of judging and overall standards of participation. Now in its eighth edition, the HSF - NLU Delhi INC continues its annual tradition of three days of complex and challenging negotiations at National Law University, Delhi from 1 - 3 September 2023.
