IEX recently participated in a regional workshop on "Transforming Cross Border Electricity Trade and Regional Electricity Market for an Energy Secure South Asia." The event was jointly organized by Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), South Asia Group on Energy (SAGE)-RIS, and USAID’s South Asia Regional Energy Partnership (SAREP). Mr. Rohit Bajaj, Executive Director, Business Development, Strategy & Regulatory Affairs, was an esteemed panelist for the session on “Bangladesh Perspective on Participation in the Power Exchange Platform of India.” The discussion focused on the Day Ahead and the Real Time Market of the Power Exchange Platform of India, the experiences of Nepal and Bhutan, and ways to enhance Bangladesh’s participation. #EnergySecurity #CrossBorderTrade #SouthAsia #PowerExchange #IEX
