This initiative is designed to foster innovation in the solar energy sector, with a particular focus on solar rooftop systems. 🌱 Solarthon aims to leverage innovative solutions and advanced technologies to enhance the predictability and efficiency of solar rooftop installations, contributing to more effective power planning and the overall growth of sustainable energy infrastructure. 💡 Imagine running a solar-powered business. If you know tomorrow will be cloudy, you can plan for reduced solar output and avoid interruptions by using stored energy or other power sources. For utility companies, accurate predictions mean they can balance solar and other energy sources to meet demand more efficiently.☀️ At the heart of Solarthon is a mission to engage startups and individual innovators in the development of an advanced tool to predict solar rooftop project generation on an hourly and daily basis.
