JSP at IIT Madras Workshop on Fire Behaviour of Steel Structures We recently participated in a workshop conducted by IIT Madras on "Fire Behaviour of Steel Structures," where we also showcased our licensed fire-resistant steel capabilities. The event educated manufacturers, designers, consultants, and students about understanding the fundamental principles of fire behaviour of steel structures and applying design codes and fire testing procedures. Fire-resistant steel is gaining global popularity due to its safety benefits. It is ideal for various construction projects and reduces the need for additional fire protection measures, maintaining its integrity even when exposed to temperatures up to 600°C. Our fire-resistant products result in lower maintenance costs and reduced design time without compromising aesthetics or complexity. By continually improving our fire-resistant steel offerings, we aim to contribute to safer and more resilient infrastructure. We appreciate the collaborative efforts of IIT Madras for hosting such an informative and valuable workshop.
