The Government is “secretly” planning to alter the inflation rate to make everything look goody-goody. Here’s the conspiracy: The current inflation rate is 5.5%. If you needed ₹ 1,00,000 to live a certain lifestyle in Sept’23, you’ll need ₹ 1,05,500 in Sep’24 for the same life. What about food inflation? 👇 Food inflation is nearly double the inflation rate - 9.24%. Food prices are rising, much faster than other goods. See, controlling inflation isn’t easy. But the Government is trying to “manage” the real number. Look, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) considers food the largest expense for any family. In urban areas, food accounts for around 36% of overall expenses. In rural areas, it’s about 54%. These percentages have been fixed since 2015. But now, the government is planning to REDUCE food weight in the CPI. If the food portion is lowered, overall inflation would decrease. For example, reducing the food weight by 8% could lower the overall inflation rate by 0.7%. This would bring the inflation rate for September 2024 down from 5.5% to 4.8%. Is it the right fix? No. But at least inflation looks better on paper. What’s your take on this? Drop your thoughts in the comments below 👇 REPOST 🔁 to spread the word.

Lawyers can’t promote their services ❌🥲 Here’s why 👇 Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India prohibits lawyers from advertising or soliciting work. They’re not allowed to place ads in newspapers, on billboards, or even on social media. This rule dates back to the British Era. The legal profession has always been upheld as a noble one. In 2008, however, the Bar Council of India allowed some relaxation. Now, lawyers are permitted to maintain a website and display their contact information. But we really hope that even if BCI provides further relaxation, lawyers avoid placing cringy ads that could compromise the profession's integrity. REPOST 🔁 to spread the word. Should lawyers have more freedom to advertise? Drop your thoughts in the comments 👇

Nirmala Taai doesn’t want you to earn ANYTHING… Rumour has it, the Government might stop issuing Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs). Here’s why 👇 SGBs were initially launched for two reasons: - To reduce India’s gold imports - To safeguard foreign reserves But these bonds have turned into a high-yield “problem” for the Government. In 2015, the Government raised ₹245 crores through SGBs. With 2.5% annual interest, that ballooned to ₹609 crores at the end of 8 years, which the Government had to repay investors. That’s a 148% return! Currently, the Government still owes ₹85,000 crores to investors. The last SGB issue was in Feb 2024, with no signs of fresh issues. Speculation is strong that SGBs may be discontinued altogether. SGBs, once trading at a discount, are now selling at a 15% premium. Labour Law Advisor has never promoted a gold product in the past 8 years. We knew SGBs were the best. Unlike Nirmala Taai, we genuinely care about your financial well-being! In 2012, ₹1 lakh was enough for a comfortable lifestyle. But today? You’d need ₹1,94,200 to maintain the same standard. What’s behind this huge jump? The Consumer Price Index (CPI) 👇 Imagine a typical family's expenses: - 36% on food - 21% on rent - 5% each on clothes and petrol…and so on. To understand how much these costs have increased since 2012, we calculate the CPI. CPI = (Cost of a Fixed Basket of Goods and Services in the Current Year / Cost of the Same Basket in the Base Year) x 100 The increase in CPI from last year to this year is known as the Inflation Index. It’s currently around 5-5.5%. The RBI aims to keep inflation between 2-6% and adjusts the repo rate to manage it. Did you know about CPI before? Mandeep talked about air pollution caused by firecrackers, and people got offended. But here’s what nobody wants to understand 👇 Some people raised a question: “Why bring it up on Diwali? Why not during New Year’s or Christmas?” Firstly, the government has banned firecrackers. Who allows you to ignite them? Secondly, if anyone is concerned about air pollution caused by firecrackers… ..and the same person bursts firecrackers during Diwali, Christmas, New Year, or at their wedding, they are a complete hypocrite. Bursting firecrackers is a luxury we cannot afford. Yet, we often avoid the real issue. We act as if addressing pollution is an attack on our festivals, but it’s not just about Diwali, Christmas, or New Year’s. Regardless of our beliefs, we share this space. We breathe the same air. If your choices pollute it, you must expect criticism. We’re all suffering together. Our focus has shifted. We have become so busy in harming each other that we are ready to die ourselves. When will we wake up and change? REPOST 🔁 if you agree with Mandeep’s perspective.

In Delhi-NCR, the AQI is crossing 500! You’re allowing the smoke of thousands of cigarettes to enter your children’s lungs. All while being uneducated and careless. Why? 👇 An AQI below 50 to 100 means clean air. But once the AQI crosses 150, the chances of heart and lung diseases start to rise. During the festivities, we light a small firecracker… …but the smoke produced from it is equivalent to the smoke from 450 cigarettes. It’s entering your children's lungs. Controlling this harmful exposure is your responsibility. Half of the deaths worldwide are due to cancer and cardiovascular diseases. See, Diwali is just one day of celebration. But for the other 11 months, demanding clean air is both your right and responsibility. You keep paying income tax and GST. But when will you start demanding clean air to breathe? At the very least, we can invest in an air purifier. Spending 10,000 to 15,000 on an air purifier is much better than spending 10 to 15 lakh on medical bills. This isn’t brand promotion; we’re Jagruk. Visit jagarukfinds.com You’ll find links to the top 3 air purifiers that we personally use, which have delivered excellent performance and require low maintenance costs. REPOST 🔁 to spread the word.

Your resume might be getting rejected before a human even sees it. The culprit? ATS. Here’s how to beat it and make sure your dream job doesn’t slip away 👇 A company needed a developer. 3 months passed. Still no luck. Frustrated, the hiring manager applied under a fake name, submitting his own resume. Within 20 seconds, a rejection email hit his inbox: “After careful consideration, we are unable to move forward with your application.” Twenty seconds. That’s all it took. The manager was stunned. Half the HR team was replaced within a week. But the real lesson wasn’t about staffing; it was about the technology that decides our careers today. These days, more companies rely on machines, not humans, to screen applicants. Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) filter resumes, scanning PDFs, JPGs, and Word docs, then searching for certain keywords. If relevant keywords are not found, it instantly rejects the resume. Our co-founder Rishabh experienced it, too. He scored just 44 out of 100 when he ran his college resume through an ATS. The reason? Resumes need to be tailored for ATS to get noticed at all. Want to avoid getting lost in the black hole? Check out this video 👇 We have shared 10 tips to help you optimize for ATS, so your resume is seen by the right people.
